Hi,
My installation of easyguestbook does'nt work.
It worked for a while, now it does'nt anymore.
When i click anything regarding the guestbook i get this error:
The URI you submitted has disallowed characters.

Does'nt matter if i'm in the front or backend of Joomla.

Can anyone please help me?

The URL is www.skaffaboy.nl/index.php

Thanks in advance!

You'd better use Easy Guestbook 2.0
it's way better than 1.5 Smiley

With 2.0 as well?
That's impossible.. the framework under Easy Guestbook has been modified, so that error can't appear there :S

an internal server error usually indicates that there is another error hidden underneath it.
can you check your servers error_log file? it should contain a bit more info about what goes wrong exactly..

my provider says my htacces file is the problem.
i have an .html page before my joomla installation so i made a htacces file for that.
i'll check some of the options my provider gave me.

There still is no solution for the problem, I'm working on that with my provider, but I have another problem.
On the front-end when I push the Save New Entry button it won´t do anything at all. Why?

make sure that you are running all the latest files (see the "Check for updates" option)
there are a few fixes available that fix some issues Smiley

At the moment no matter what i do regarding guestbook, it will always give an internal 500 error, i can't even get on the guestbook page at the front end.

The rest of the website works great, so what is my problem?

you really have to check the apache error_log file to be sure about the exact error message.

There are a lot of reasons that an Internal Server error can occur..
